OK, so it's obviously a permissions issue, but I can't figure out what the exact issue is. Huh? I'm not trying to read, I'm trying to write! "Items can’t be copied to “data” because you don’t have permission to read them." When I go to drag a file to the window, OS X pops up with an admin login for finder (mac application for browsing) but when I enter my admin username and password, OSX comes back with a message saying: Ok, I did search a LOT on this issue and have been banging my head on a wall for two hours now trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong.įirst off, I can see the share (hosted on Centos 7, everything updated), I can browse to it (in OS X), and I can even mount it on OS X's desktop and it opens a window and shows me the correct free space, so I am ALMOST there!īut not quite.
